Car/ motorcycle wheels are subjected to both corrosion and rotting. Alberta Plating uses methods to deal with such issues. We can deal with various wheel styles and sizes. Following a series of steps we can deal with stripping chrome/nickel plating off of an aluminum or steel rim without affecting its integrity.

At the time of dealing with the wheel stripping work, some wheel service providers may sandblast but find the plating does not want to come off. However, our team applies chemicals that are able to strip chrome, copper and nickel plating off the rim without need for excessive sandblasting. Afterwards your rim will be ready for powder coating or painting on a clean non corroded surface. We do not offer powder coating. But there are several shops around that can fulfill that need.
