Standard chroming is where we grind the metal to the base then polish up in grits to about 400 then do 2 nickel plating and one chrome. There are more polishing lines in standard chrome plating than in our show chrome finish since show chrome involves copper plating and higher grit sanding.

We can plate most metals but cannot plate magnesium and we do not plate aluminum car rims.
